My 2nd fave band
okay starset are moderately more niche than linkin park - the average person won't know their name but in rock circles, they're getting pretty name-worthy. their shtick is incredible and they stick to it all the time. essentially, each album tells different stories but all around the same general idea: The Starset Society want to escape this over-burdened, over-controlled and technological - almost cyberpunk-esque - dystopian world. and they fight for it. there is a TON of lore for it (that i mostly haven't read tbh lmao) but it is fascinating. and the music slaps. so i have a tattoo. and i've seen them live - twice! i'm going a third time later this year ('24!)
