Climbing RPG/Dating sim {title tbe}
Summary
There's no greater wall to climb than love! Well...
there is that competition in two weeks time that you accidentally signed up for.
That wall could be pretty big too.
You are a new indoor rock climber at the gym
and meet the eclectic regulars, who are all very ready to mingle!

Kepler "Kep" Terrence
Kep is a regular at the climbing gym but you wouldn't imagine that if
you walked past them on the street. With a stylish green mohawk and chains
hanging off every jean loop, they're unmissable and passionate about every
avenue of their life - especially love and the wall.
Benjamin "Benji" Keller
Benji is a soft-spoken man and friends with everyone at the gym - don't
be surprised if he's chatting away instead of hitting the wall.
When his hands aren't covered in chalk, he can be found planting various
flowers and vegetables in his garden.
Lillian "Lilly" Norton
Competitive? Maybe. Winning? Definitely. Lilly has a win-streak at competitions
rivalled only by Mel, and her work in the corporate world is just as successful.
It might be tough to pry her away from the grind but her passion may just be worth it.
Melanie "Mel" Dixons
There is a wall in Mel's home dedicated to her competition wins and not just in climbing -
she's quite proud of how much weight she can lift too. Despite Lilly's attempts, her
spirit is dedicated to her own personal growth and this positive attitude extends to all those around her.
Jonathan "Johnny" Hicks
Although a regular, Johnny is an old soul and doesn't speak to many others (besides Benji).
Though he doesn't joins competitions, he can be seen cheering on from the sidelines in his fancy-suits
and is always willing to give lifts - so long as you will listen to him talk about his car.
Dev notes
A new project of mine! I wanted to learn C# for professional work and making a game
seemed like a fun idea.
Anyway this has quickly spiralled into a full-blown dating sim. Currently at 5
dateables, the base storyline and dates for each. This is gonna take more time than you'd expect
to develop, since I'm making this entirely in C# with Windows Forms, rather than an
engine like RPGMaker. At some point, I'll draw the dateables and post them here!
Important notes I wanted to add:
- queer characters off the bat
- player can choose gender + pronouns
- no "gender-locked" romances (at least for the initial 5)
- twists on usual dating sim stereotypes
- minigames on and out of dates
- as a follow up, option to skip minigames especially any QTE ones (as an accessibility option)
